DFFCL 2017 SEASON 13 WEEK 4 YAHOO! HEADLINES

Virgil's RB Tops RAM TIME who Loses Fourth Straight
Philip Rivers and Greg Zuerlein are going to have sore backs tomorrow after carrying Virgil's RB to a victory over RAM TIME 149.68 to 107.80. They scored 28.88 and 27.00 points, respectively. RAM TIME is headed for a lost season and is winless. For RAM TIME, Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks Defense played the roles of Maverick and Goose, scoring 31.60 and 20.00 points, respectively. Virgil's RB (3-1, 520.02 points) remains in third place while RAM TIME (0-4, 422.70 points) stays in the cellar.

Smooth Moves by Virgil's RB
·         Congrats, Virgil's RB. You outscored your opponent. Next up: outperforming all other Fantasy Football players to get into the Toyota Hall of Fame.
·         Added Greg Zuerlein, who exceeded his scoring projection by a matchup-leading 235.8%.
·         DeAndre Hopkins had 26.70 points, the highest WR score in the league this week.
·         Philip Rivers ranked 10th in the league in scoring and had the highest output of any player on Virgil's RB this season with 28.88 points.
·         Virgil's RB is either a fortune teller or really knows their stuff. Wendell Smallwood, who was picked up by Virgil's RB, scored 15.90 points against a projected 11.18, topping his projection by 42.2%.
Toyota Roster Tune-up
·         After any loss, it's good to reflect on the choices you've made. One you'll never regret is being a Toyota Hall of Famer.
·         Left LeGarrette Blount on the bench, where he scored 21.10 points and beat his projected point total by 173.0%, the fourth-highest percentage in the league this week.
·         All that glitters is not gold. Picked up Jared Cook, who scored 6.10 points against his projected 8.24.
·         The WR corps couldn't keep pace with their counterparts from Virgil's RB and were outscored 37.20 - 17.10.
·         You've gotta hit rock button before you can start to rise. It was a season-low 2.20 points for Sammy Watkins this week. It was also a season-low for his performance versus projections, reaching only 17.9% of a projected point total of 12.26.
What If
·         If Virgil's RB played RAM TIME every week, they'd be 2-2 this season.

*all about Pincus smashed TDTootie 158.42 to 94.28, sniffing the record books in the process with the second-highest point total in the league this week. "You play to win the game. Hello! You play to win the game." Someone please tell this to TDTootie, who is currently winless. Following a 159.92 to 152.16 loss against LOS REYES DEL FUTBOL, TDTootie saw their scoring drop substantially this week. *all about Pincus (2-2, 525.40 points) climbs into sixth place and TDTootie (0-4, 468.96 points) stays in ninth place.\

·         Winning make you feel warm and fuzzy? Coincidentally, Toyota Hall of Fame inductees get a gold jacket that is both warm and quite fuzzy.
·         Not quite the best, but pretty darn effective. Ezekiel Elliott had the fourth-highest RB score of the week and the 10th-highest RB score in the league this season with 27.90 points.
·         The 25.90 points scored by Travis Kelce was the top TE score in the league this week.
·         The 22.50 points scored by Leonard Fournette was the sixth-highest score of any RB in the league this week.
·         Look, there in the sky. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's just Michael Thomas posterizing opponents. He had the fifth-highest score of any WR in the league this week with 18.90 points.

·         Amari Cooper has scored below his projection in every game this season after scoring 1.90 points against a projected 11.90 this week.

*Rocco's Oil Bucket* Gets Late Rally on Doomsday D-gani, Climbs into First Place

*Rocco's Oil Bucket* (3-1, 554.56 points) has more hops than a frog escaping a French restaurant, jumping over Doomsday D-gani (3-1, 483.06 points) and landing on the first-place pad after beating them 119.58 to 99.58. Down by 8.10 points on Monday night, *Rocco's Oil Bucket* picked up 28.10 to secure the win. They were led by Jordy Nelson who got 21.50 points while Kareem Hunt scored 19.10. These two teams are tied for first place with 3-1 records, but it smells like BS, as *Rocco's Oil Bucket* knows they're the much better squad, leading in total points 554.56 to 483.06. Each team fell short of hitting their projections, but *Rocco's Oil Bucket* managed to score 88.3% of a projected 135.48 points for the win.

·         Know what's better than winning your matchup vs. *Rocco's Oil Bucket*? Getting into the Toyota Hall of Fame.
·         Sat TE Jason Witten on the bench, where he had the lowest TE score on the team with 1.40 points.
·         The Kansas City Chiefs Defense scored 9.00 points against a projected 6.81 and has now overachieved in every game this season.
·         What do Apache helicopters, F-117 Nighthawks and Jordy Nelson have in common? They are all dangerous aerial weapons. He ranked third in the league in scoring among WRs this week with 21.50 points.
·         There are rumors that the military wants to model a new all-terrain vehicle based off of Kareem Hunt. He had the ninth-highest score among RBs in the league this week with 19.10 points.

·         Doomsday D-gani, you can't win 'em all. But you can't lose 'em all if you wanna be in the Toyota Hall of Fame.
·         Doomsday D-gani had 9 of their 10 starters score less than their projected points.
·         Dan Bailey has now failed to reach his projection for three straight games. This week he scored 6.00 points versus a projected 10.02.
·         It's times like these when it's important to support your players when they're down. So move the mouse pointer away from the DROP button. Melvin Gordon scored a season-low 3.40 points, 23.6% of his projected 14.42, which is his lowest percentage of the year.
·         With 3.60 points, Jeremy Maclin scored only 36.4% of his 9.90 projected point total.

LOS REYES DEL FUTBOL Overwhelms 4EVER, Streak Now at Three

Not only did LOS REYES DEL FUTBOL keep their momentum alive, but they did so in a decisive fashion. They were the highest point total this season, which aided them to their third consecutive win after they eviscerated 4EVER 187.68 to 88.84. LOS REYES DEL FUTBOL is making magic happen for their team, as they have the second-highest overall point total in the league this season by averaging 135.21 points per matchup. 4EVER goes to 1-3 and stays in eighth place. LOS REYES DEL FUTBOL is in second place, having now beaten *Rocco's Oil Bucket* (125.46 to 108.00) and TDTootie (159.92 to 152.16).

·         It was a beating at QB for 4EVER, as they were outscored 37.48 - 12.64 by LOS REYES DEL FUTBOL.
·         It was not a good week for 4EVER at TE, where they were beaten 18.70 - 5.20.

Smelly Squad picked up the second-highest point total in the league this week (37.60 points) by Le'Veon Bell, on the way to their third win in as many matchups when they annihilated Demaryius Targaryen 118.26 to 76.96. Demaryius Targaryen goes to 2-2 and slides to seventh place. Smelly Squad is in fifth place, having now blown through TDTootie (106.02 to 99.58) and 4EVER (141.62 to 79.50).

·         A win like that is a great first step, Smelly Squad. A baby step toward the ultimate achievement: becoming a Toyota Hall of Famer.
·         Just call him Fred Flintstone, because he was toting the rock all day long. Le'Veon Bell had 37.60 points, the highest RB score of the week and the third-highest RB score in the league this season.
·         With 31.16 points, Aaron Rodgers had the eighth-highest score in the league this week.
·         Smelly Squad won despite having only 2 of their 10 starters exceed their projected points.
·         Smelly Squad won even though all three of their WRs scored below their projected points.

·         Demaryius Targaryen, you can't win 'em all. But you can't lose 'em all if you wanna be in the Toyota Hall of Fame.
·         Demaryius Targaryen left the 20.60 points scored by Alvin Kamara on the bench this week. He beat his projected point total by 121.7%, the 10th-highest percentage in the league.
·         With 1.60 points against a projected 14.46, Demaryius Thomas was last in the matchup in scoring and has now scored below his projection in every game this season.
·         Did not start Kelvin Benjamin, who beat his scoring projection with 17.40 points against a projected 9.35.
